Christmas Eve 2001 - The Spinning Wheel, Biggin Hill
An impromptu reunion (can we still call them that now that we seem to know each other so well again!) was arranged by Nads for Christmas Eve - and touted as "The one and only chance to see the Amazing Philbo-baggins and his Lordlike ring!"
Yes, Phil Townsend was back in town!
We all trotted along at lunch time to the The Spinning Wheel in Biggin Hill, with kids and spouses (spice?) in tow:
Steph, Graham, Andrew and Zoe
Nads, Nicola, Lucia and new arrival Cerys
Phil and his mate David from the year below us
Claire (on her own - hubby was busy arresting people)
Nicola - who brought along Ken Mason who went to Orchard Way before Phil and Nads joined
The kids loved the play area and the rest of us had a good laugh playing with Pop Up Pirate (?) and other novelties (it's apparently a bit of a ritual that Nads and Phil buy each other silly pressies for Christmas).
Next reunion is 18th January - and Sean has promised not to give us any more of his dodgy excuses and actually turn up!
